Serje Robidoux
Dr. Serje Robidoux is a statistics and methodology expert with a background in reading, language and developmental research however, his research activity has varied considerably over time. In addition to WiL's focus on reading and emotional health in children, he is also involved in projects examining numeracy, spelling, psychometric testing, single word processing, and literacy education. In the past he has worked in the fields of computational thinking, linguistics, acquired language disorders, and disorders of belief.
Serje completed his Bachelor of Mathematics, Master of Arts and PhD at the University of Waterloo and used to work as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at Macquarie University (CCD) where he studied skilled reading, the development of reading, and dyslexia. After many years as a researcher in the cognitive underpinnings and computational modelling of reading, Serje joined the WiL team in 2017. Since then, he has transitioned to a freelance statistical consulting role with an adjunct fellowship at Macquarie University. Serje works with students and faculty from a wide range of disciplines at Macquarie University, Australian Catholic University and the Dyslexia-SPELD Foundation, as well as a range of academic and industry clients from Canada.
