Genevieve McArthur
Dr Genevieve McArthur is a Professor at the Australian Centre for the Advancement of Literacy and Director of Research Translation at the Dyslexia SPELD Foundation. Her research investigates why children experience difficulties with literacy, language, and mental health, and how these difficulties can be identified and treated most effectively. She leads the PRAX research team, which examines the relationship between poor reading and anxiety. Genevieve is also a research translator for MOTIf and a board member of Street Libraries Australia. She co-founded Wellbeing in Literacy (WiL) in 2015 and continues to coordinate research that informs the WiL causal model [link for WiL causal model] and its application across WiL projects [link for WiL projects].
