Britta Biedermann
Dr Britta Biedermann is a Researcher and Senior Lecturer at Curtin University. Her research focuses on post-stroke aphasia, with a particular interest in understanding multilingual language difficulties in culturally and linguistically diverse populations, where diagnosis and treatment are more complex. She investigates the mechanisms underlying speech errors in bilingual speakers to improve multilingual assessment and treatment planning, and also explores the effects of meditation on wellbeing and cognitive processes in people with aphasia.
